Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the season of Lent, where we observe a 40-day fasting period in preparation for Easter’s celebration of Christ’s resurrection. On Ash Wednesday, we are reminded of our mortality, and we take time to repent of our sins as part of our journey towards Christ’s cross and ultimate victory in resurrection. Our Ash Wednesday services will be February 14th at noon and at 6:30pm. We encourage you to come to one of these services and join us in this special day of remembrance and preparation.

Maundy Thursday
March 28th | 6:30pm

Maundy Thursday commemorates the events of the Last Supper before Jesus’ crucifixion. This service allows us to recall the gathering where Jesus shared a meal with his disciples, washing their feet as an act of humility and love. In his parting words, Jesus commanded his followers to love one another as he had loved them, encapsulating the essence of his teachings and the Christian faith. Join us as we reflect upon these moments and honor the legacy of love and sacrifice that defines Maundy Thursday.

Good Friday
March 29th | 12:00pm & 6:30pm

Join us for one of our two Good Friday services, where we remember the solemnity of Jesus Christ’s crucifixion. Good Friday holds significance for us because it marks Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice and the redemption that it brings for all. You will get a chance to hear a dramatic reading from John’s Gospel as we recollect that fateful day in Jesus’ life.

Easter Sunday
March 31st | 6:45am, 8:00am, 9:30am, & 11:00am

Join us as we celebrate our risen savior! Easter is all about recognizing that Jesus defeated death by resurrecting from the grave. We will have four services. Our sunrise services take place at 6:45am in New Beginnings Park, located between our church and St. James Episcopal Church. Then we have two traditional services at 8am and 11am, and one contemporary service at 9:30am. This will take place inside our Fellowship Hall.

Coffee in the Park

Join us every Thursday morning at 8:30 am, starting from February 15th
through March 28th, for a rejuvenating session of “Coffee in the Park” at New Beginnings Park. Located conveniently between our church and St. James Episcopal Church, this gathering offers more than just a cup of coffee; it’s an opportunity to nourish your soul. Pastor Denvil will guide and lead us with a Bible study and devotion to inspire and uplift us for the day ahead.

Lenten Lunches

You can also join us every Wednesday at noon, from February 21st to March 20th, for our “Lenten Lunches.” Delve into the heart of Lent as we come together over a shared meal, provided for your convenience, with a suggested donation of $7. Different members of our church staff will lead us in meaningful devotions centered around the theme of prayer, enriching our spiritual journey during this Lenten season.
