About Our Family

My wife, Jamie, and I have been married since 2006. We have three children—Dereion, Kia, and
Zamarianna (ZZ)—whom we adopted out of foster care. All three of them are musicians: Dereion plays
tuba and bass guitar, Kia plays saxophone, and ZZ plays flute. As a family, we love spending time
at the beach, watching movies, and enjoying the Marvel series together.

About Me

I was born in Illinois but spent the early part of my childhood in Virginia Beach. My family moved
back to Illinois when I was entering sixth grade, and since then we have lived in Fort Myers, FL,
and the Nashville, TN area. I received my Bachelor’s in Communication and am nearly finished with
my Master’s in Ministerial Studies. I enjoy playing golf, I love baseball (Go Cubs), I enjoy
playing music, and I like working on my Jeep.

Ministry Experience

I began working in ministry in 2013 as the Worship Director at a multi-campus church in Central
Illinois. Since then, I have served as a Worship Pastor in Fort Myers, FL, and in the Nashville,
TN area.
