3rd Grade Bibles

As a beginning step, if you are interested in your child receiving a Bible, please email Pastor Denvil by October 15 at denvil@portcharlottechurch.com. Please share and talk it up with your fellow third-grade parent friends, as we don’t want anyone left out.

The Bible that your children will receive is not a story-book style Bible like they may have gotten at a younger age. This is a Bible that adults would read also, but with kid-friendly pictures and commentary. We hope you find it a joy when you spend time with your children reading it together.

Your child will be receiving the bestselling NIrV Adventure Bible(R) for Early Readers. Designed for kids ages 6-10 years, our hope is that this Bible will get them excited about God’s Word. They will be captivated by the full-color features that make reading Scripture and memorizing their favorite verses engaging and fun. Along the way, they’ll meet all types of people, see all sorts of places, and learn all kinds of things about the Bible. Most importantly, they’ll grow closer in their relationship with God.

This Bible includes the complete New International Reader’s Version (NIrV) which is written at a third-grade reading level. The NIrV is perfect for children learning to read and explore the Bible for the first time on their own. 

Throughout the year, you will receive emails about what your kids are learning and studying in our Children’s Ministry. We encourage you to review these materials and read the stories with your children. Take time to share the joy of studying God’s word together.
